Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Alsobrooks Slotkin Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
Alsobrooks Slotkin Victory Fund (“JFC”) is a joint fundraising committee composed of Alsobrooks for Senate, Elissa Slotkin for Michigan, the Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland, and Michigan Democratic State Central Committee (collectively, the “Participants”). The Participants hereby agree that all contributions to JFC permissible under the Federal Election Campaign Act, as amended, 52 U.S.C. § 30101 et seq. (“FECA”), will be allocated among the Participants from the net fundraising proceeds as permitted by FECA and according to the following allocation method set forth in this Schedule: a)Any single individual contribution or federal non-multi candidate political action committee (“PAC”) contribution shall be distributed to the Participants in the following order, up to the maximum allowed under FECA: 1.The first $6,600 will be allocated evenly between Alsobrooks for Senate(general election) and Slotkin for Michigan (primary election); 2.The next $6,600 will be allocated evenly between Slotkin for Michigan(general election) and the federal account of the Democratic State CentralCommittee of Maryland; 3.The remaining amount will be allocated evenly between the federal accounts of the Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland and theMichigan Democratic State Central Committee, up to a maximum of$10,000 per committee. b)Any federal multi-candidate PAC contribution shall be distributed to the Participants in the following order, up to the maximum allowed under FECA: 1.The first $10,000 will be allocated evenly between Alsobrooks for Senate(general election) and Slotkin for Michigan (primary election); 2.The next $10,000 will be allocated evenly between Slotkin for Michigan(general election) and the federal account of the Democratic State CentralCommittee of Maryland; 3.The remaining amount will be allocated evenly between the federal accounts of the Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland and theMichigan Democratic State Central Committee, up to a maximum of 5,000 per committee
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting josie@bluewavepolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
