The healthy choice for Kentucky!
I’ve run very successful community health and worker well-being programs and I’m ready to take that skill and passion to Frankfort! I’m advocating to remove barriers Kentuckians are facing so they can work, learn, and prosper in this beautiful region. I’ll continue to champion for improved Social Determinants of Health through policy, and greater access to physical therapy to keep workers safe, address the obesity epidemic, and prevent opioid dependency.
In 2018, I took lead on the Calloway County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, chaired the Calloway County healthy lifestyle workgroup formed to address the triennial CHA-CHIP, and from 2021 - 2023 served as Interim Vaccine Program Manager for 120,000 associates, volunteers, vendors, and students to meet the requirements of the federal COVID vaccine mandate for health care workers. As Representative of House District 3, I plan to make data-driven decisions and implement evidence-based programs that keep workers and communities healthy while being a good steward of taxpayer funds.
Highlights of my career include:
Chairing the Board of Directors for the Paducah McCracken County Senior Center (2017 - 2018)
Serving as a board member of the St. Nicholas Family Clinic Foundation (2014 - 2018)
Chairing the JDRF Kentucky 4 Rivers One Walk to Cure Diabetes (2012 - 2019)
Planning the Purchase Area Mental Health and Aging Coalition Conference (2011 - 2018)

I’m inspired and driven by my two teenage kids who both have Type 1 diabetes; I worry about their future with a chronic medical condition, I’m concerned for their safety at school, and I know my impact in Frankfort will give their generation hope for economic progress right here at home! I’m currently a board member of Provider Enrichment Services working to address childhood Adverse Childhood Events and build Protective Factors as a community through supportive relationships and dialogue.
