Students have always taken part in most major social movements. From the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s to the anti-apartheid movement of the 1980s, student activism has forced society and the world to change. NAACP youth units across America are engaged in social justice activism addressing issues at the local, state and national level. We are uniquely positioned to lead in the fight to combat policies and practices that hurt communities of color. This is a significant opportunity for you to not only give to support our work but to also step up in the fight to make our country more equal and more just.
