Donate to Stop EtO in Lake County
We demand an end to the emission of ethylene oxide (EtO) in our communities. Vantage Specialty Chemicals in Gurnee, IL and Medline Industries in Waukegan, IL are releasing EtO gas into the air from production and warehouses near residential areas in Waukegan, Gurnee, Libertyville, Mundelein, Lake Forest, and Lake Bluff. EtO is a heavy gas that attacks DNA in human cells and causes cancer. There is no safe level of exposure.
