Trisha Calvarese (she/her) [cal-vuh-reez] is the hometown candidate running to represent Colorado's 4th Congressional District.


Born in Colorado, Trisha grew up in Highlands Ranch. She attended Douglas County public schools and earned a full merit academic scholarship to the Johns Hopkins University.


Trisha is former Director of Speechwriting & Publications at the AFL-CIO and a 2nd generation member of the Federal Civil Service with the U.S. National Science Foundation.


She recently returned home to Highlands Ranch to provide end of life care for her parents. She is running to protect Social Security. To bring investments from legislation she helped shape and pass home in the form of union jobs, education, and start-ups as we address problems like water conservation, fire resilience, and food sustainability. To defeat Project 2025 and restore reproductive rights.
